Zoom venue event (application (free))

SDGs activities are questioned. There are only 10 years left until the target deadline of 2030, but it is impossible for us humans to carry out all the "SDGs goals" in 10 years. This event is Beyond SDGs! Let's imagine and think about the future society 10,000 years from now! This is an event plan. No one knows what society will look like 10,000 years from now. However, by looking back 10,000 years ago, I think you can feel the meaning of this "universe time".

[Tuesday e-Lecture] Think Beyond SDGs! Creating a sustainable society and hospitality mindset learned from the Jomon period

It is a question that knowing the historical fact that Japanese ancestors "Jomon people" built a sustainable society "Jomon period" over a long period of 13,000 years may provide hints for Beyond SDGs.

As a guest speaker, we welcome Yasuhiro Okada, Specialist in Prefectural World Cultural Heritage Registration, who has been instrumental in promoting the registration of the Jomon Archaeological Sites in Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku, which has been designated as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. It is a project to think about the future of society and our future while listening to the lives and consciousness of people in the Jomon period.

The panelists will have people who are engaged in SDGs activities and art activities on a daily basis participate and discuss.

The moderator will be Daishiro Okada of HLD Lab Co., Ltd.
